August 2013: Red Hat Day–
I know the image is a little dark…but click on it to make it bigger. Haven’t had time to make up some examples, but the little dog- Springer Spaniel- reminds me of Sparky.. a liver & white female we once had.. back in the 70’s early 80’s.
July 2013 : New Rubber additions:
The Chef just makes me laugh.. I have kitchen towels and a clock of HIM… Figured this stamped on a card with a favorite recipe inside would make a neat little gift for someone needing a “hug”. (last minute gift Idea catagory)
June 2013: With new stamps come NEW Cards.
More card play…
My cat and dog stamps arrived.. aren’t they adorable?? I wanna play more with the bicycling stamps in the Life kit.. but had to get back to cooking and sewing today. Sat. April 28th.
Misc. note cards.
Amazon is my friend….when the Bug bites me to make some Cards.. I found the sewing machine and tiny kitty stamp.. along with a couple others that should be delivered soon.. ink and chalk coloring works for me in doing up some quick HI note cards.
Then I used the vintage news print bag that my stamps came in!!! and stamped the kitty randomly.. Inked the outer edges and added a sewing machine cut out that I made with MY stamp. Got a little messy, but ooooo, sooooo, satisfying!!
It has been a long time since I had the urge to play with my stamps..tho I have been looking at the newer clear acrylics.. nice, but most are just tiny.. then I found the ones with words & sayings. They were in the 97 cent bins…along with the ink pads and cards.. Yes, I ran out of cards and didn’t have envelopes to make more from card stock.. I snatched up alot of goodies from those 97 cent bins, too and made some Misc Cards that will work of everyday “thank you”s and just Missing or lovin on ya today.
I learned how to use Alcohol inks from Anarondak & Staz On inks on those clear round metal tags. regular stamping on paper using the time stamp from Club Scrapdotcom–an online scrapbooking Kit Club.. Love their papers but Oh it’s expensive!!
I left this image a little bigger for you to see the wonderful backgrounds that a friend, LindaH sent to me..inking techniques for backgrounds. I love each and everyone!! I just over stamped her inking and heat embossed with black and gold embossing powder. The “GET WELL” I left and just matted another stamped flower over it. Now I’ve gotta learn how to do these techniques for myself…. Hey, Linda– I’m stalking your site to see the “how tos”…??
add in some grass (in front bottom) and smaller butte stamp..now you have a bigger scene.
Again my stampscapes _ Country Roads theme..
Playing with the Stampscape technique.. this came out about the 2.5 x 3.5 great little ATC
A little coloring and stamping going on at my table since I got a great deal on rubber stamps from an online sale!! This is only one of the images that came in and I just had to stamp something. Now to organize the shoe box full of others..must be 100’s of individual stamps. No I haven’t counted them yet. I’m still sorting and cataloging them (getting side track alot tho)
I can promise one thing (and I always keep my promises!) I’ll be showing off more of my cards!!
