I have tons of other photos, but to really get an idea of the size of these magnificent creatures, I chose this one. That is a park ranger fixing some sensor lines going down to the Spring to monitor temps and condition of this pool. Which stays at 72 degrees year round. That attracts the Manatee’s during the Winter Months when the ocean temperature fall below 50 degrees.
Truly an amazing creature… gentle, slow moving and curious.. AND MUCH BIGGER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK!!
