I love these flowers and will have several pots of them sitting around our seating areas outside. Not only are they pretty, but they keep away the darn ol bug population.
These will continue to produce flowers as long as you pinch off the old blooms.. It encourages new ones!! ; )
If you want to save the plant from one year to the next.. late in the fall, before the first frost..pull from dirt, let plant completely dry out, place in a brown paper bag and store in a warm dry spot.. basements are good!! In the Spring, soak roots well and replant. On the dried top Little green sprouts will appear in a few days. Remember your GERANIUMS when thinking of bug control in your outdoor space. (crush a leaf and wipe it on your clothes to keep those mosquitos away)
