Side project.

I’ve been busy with a few side projects.. those little gifty things and decorative items for the holidays coming.    Yes, I know…..I’m easily distracted.    Sewing machines are made to be used and I try to keep both mine busy.

Here is A little project that interested me as a future christmas present.  I only made one as it was a Test Drive ,   forgot where I grabbed the pattern, but it was real simple once the cutting and fusible web was attached.   Make sure you Fuse the fusible web onto  your fabric before you start cutting.  I only had the lightweight stuff..so had to double up to make it stiff enough to look good.  Use the  fusible web on all your pieces!! 12 pieces for the outter edge and 2 Hexi’s for the center.

and the back… it is reversible, too!

once I find that site with the pattern, I’ll put up the link here.. Or if you have one to share..by all means leave a comment and link.   These make neat gifts that don’t cost much to mail out.
