Around the Yard

  Yes Fall is Here and things are changing rapidly as the cold settles in for the coming months..  Lots of colors and leaves flying everywhere.. Nov. 2008

 

 

The Ants finally got the buds to open on the Peonie bush.. This small bush produces some spectacular Reds.. The back yard has the Pink flowers that are slower to open..soon tho.

 

 

The new Climatis Vine is spreading and putting on flowers.. with the other Purple flowering one coming along slower, but just as pretty.

 

Remember I told you I had “black Iris’s” in my yard.  Here is one, close up.  It really is purple, but so dark a purple that it looks Black.  

Not some of my best snaps, but the camera battery was getting mighty low and I had to quit.. Macro setting didn’t want to work and drained what was left in reserve..

We are recharged and ready for the next photo op.
